Not just an Irish Wedding Photographer

I’m not just a wedding photographer in Ireland. I’m lucky to have many styles that characterise my photo portfolio. I specialise in Weddings, Portraits and Commercial photography. Although based in Kildare I travel nationwide.

If I had to pick a style or label myself then it would be as a documentary wedding photographer in Ireland. Capturing moments. Anticipating emotion. Waiting for quirky fun wedding photographs or more reserved yet sentimental pieces. This aspect certainly keeps me focused. I move quickly from one moment to the next slowing down for the more traditional wedding photographs. It’s an important balance to get right on the day.

Taking creative and stylish portraiture is part and parcel of my diverse editorial work too. Along with beautiful landscapes and lifestyle candid portraits I certainly do enjoy trying to give my couples something a little different on their day. I’m definitely not afraid of trying out new angles, or odd reflections to get the spirit of the wedding. An alternative wedding photographer twist so to speak. If this isn’t for you though then I’m more than willing to listen to your preferential style.

As mentioned I’m also a portrait photographer in Ireland too. Again, I like to alternate my work with traditional portraits and informal lifestyle portrait shoots. Why limit ourselves with one particular lighting source on the day? Lets’ mix it up with studio and natural lighting. Switch from background lit portraits to environmental candids.

It doesn’t always have to be studio based on the day.

Lastly, I enjoy the various work that comes with commercial photography. I particularly enjoy food photography. These stylised and intense projects are another outlet to be creative. Every brief will be covered as proposed by any client in a professional and friendly manner.

No job is too big or too small for Give us a goo photography and everyday brings a new creative way to shoot a project. One day I could be engaged in product photography such as photographing LED lightbulbs and the next photographing individual members of a business with headshot photography or take part in a charitable cause with event photography. That’s the beauty of variety that comes with this job of which I’ll always be grateful. For more information please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
