"I've never had a BRIDEZILLA and always feel like I'm letting people down when they ask if I had any bridezillas...sorry to disappoint folks"
The Millhouse Slane Wedding Photographer
The Millhouse Slane is just an eclectic mix of contrasts for wedding photography. It somehow manages to blend an old mansion with an industrial millhouse and get away with it. This shoot was the first time I had ever been to the Millhouse and have been coming back several times a year and each wedding has been just as unique and always looks great in the photographs.
Kate & Trevor booked me online from Perth, Australia. As with most couples who book me, they were relaxed, easy going and wanted lots of natural photographs. I really am blessed with my clients, I've never had a BRIDEZILLA and always feel like I'm letting people down when they ask if I had many bridezillas...not one yet...
As for the ceremony, they had a spiritual ceremony in the Millhouse itself which was lit softly with small tungsten lights and a low chandelier. Kate and Trevor also wrote love letters to each other and sealed them in a box only to be opened in a case of emergency to remind themselves of their love. Pretty sweet idea. They also did a "Tying of the Knot" ceremony which meant the whole bridal party could be included and the bond became even more meaningful.
Thanks again Kate & Trevor for letting me be your photographer for the day!
