Sue and David tied the knot at the start of July and kept the photography simple. They didn’t want many posed photographs and just wanted me to document the wedding as it took place with just a couple of group shots and a few romantic ones too. The Ardenode Hotel is a great venue for a cosy intimate wedding party and Una does a fantastic job looking after everyone’s needs on the day. It’s got lovely grounds for the kids to play in and lots of rooms for people to mingle and move around. It’s like a free gaff, but the gaff is a mansion. This wedding was also a blast from the past as I bumped into loads of old schoolmates from Naas. I had no idea they’d be there and it was great fun catching up. Also, a big thanks to Terri McCann who managed to round up all the ladies and lads for a group shot in under 5 minutes. That’s a personal record as there were about 55 in each group photo.

Every time I look at our wedding photographs I spot something else that you have managed to capture oh-so-discreetly Phil! Thanks again for everything, Sue
Thanks Sue and looking forward to the Marie Keating Fashion Show on October 10th!!!
Stunning wedding photography here! Congrats on your group photo record too…It always takes me ages to get people together!
Nick
Thanks Nick. Yeap, it can be difficult to get parties together for a photo when everyone is having so much fun. I leave it to the bride and groom to get everyone organised and they tend to get the bridal party to help out. It may take a little longer but at least there’s an urgency when the bride and groom request that family and friends get together. Of course, I’ll give them a hand in keeping people together whilst we’re waiting for the odd one or two or twenty :0
