Sean and Hiro got married at the registry office on Lower Grand Canal Street. It was a small wedding with big emotions. After the wedding, everyone went across the road to the Schoolhouse hotel for lunch and photos. Sean and Hiro had been waiting for this day a long time and you could really tell how much this ceremony meant to them, their families and close friends.
The one thing that really took me by surprise was the date of the wedding – Friday 13th – talk about taboo

Really love this set of photos. Great work Phil
Thanks Neil, they were a very relaxed, fun and easy going couple, which makes it all the more easier for me to shoot. We only spent about 15 mins taking posed photos.
such a fab set of photos so thoughtfully and tastefully done keeping precious forever this deeply personal moment well done….my favourite one is the feet
Thanks Jacqueline. It really was a memorable day. I found it funny that as soon as the last group photo was taken it started pouring down with rain
Apart from the unexpected tears, it was exactly how we imagined it would be. Once again thank you so much for capturing the mood of our day so beautifully.
When the law changes, we’ll get a chance to do it again and with no tears!! We hope you’ll be able to be our photographer for that day as well.
Hiro, it would be an honour to be your photographer on that day too!
I can’t recommend Phil highly enough. He is extremely professional, but very personable. All our guests are still talking about how great he was at getting everybody relaxed and looking good for the photos. Thanks again Phil for everything!
Cheers Sean – Looking forward to seeing ye again
Aw I so wish I could have made it Sean and Hiro! These pictures are amazing! I will see you in Paris for a late celebration in November. Phil, if I get married (again) – fancy a trip over to Wales? xx
Thanks Sharon and would love to do a Welsh wedding!
Phil, I’d like to thank you, too, for sharing this day with us. You’ve captured it amazingly. If I ever need a photographer, I’ll be thinking of you. How far do you travel?
Anywhere really, we’ve got an international driving licence and we’re fully insured too for Europe and North America. Our last International wedding was in Penticton – Canada but we’ve also shot weddings in Italy, Japan and Cork
Just give us a shout anytime you need us Jacqueline
Lovely pictures! Sean and Hiro, thanks for sharing your special day with us! Phil, I love these photos!
Thanks Lee, these are the most comments I’ve ever got on my blog for a wedding…looks like I did something right
